Vapora Releases Tokyo Girlfriend

Tokyo Girlfriend is out today through Vaporsoft Records. Vapora’s new single brings city pop into the catalog with an energetic, euphoric, and nostalgic mood, placing a bright new perspective alongside the label’s recent late-night vaporwave releases.

The single runs for two minutes and forty-nine seconds. Its compact form gives this release a different shape from an album or EP: one track with a clearly defined title and mood. Tokyo Girlfriend’s presentation looks toward city imagery and a sense of remembered brightness, while the genre and supplied moods provide the foundation for its identity.

Produced between February and March 2026, the track adds another direction to Vapora’s work. After Plaza After Dark and Plaza After Dark X, it shifts from bittersweet retail spaces toward a more euphoric city-pop setting. Nostalgia remains a connection between those releases, even as their energy and genre frames differ.

Tokyo Girlfriend is available now. Visit the single’s release page for its artwork, production details, running time, and links to listen on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Pandora, and Deezer.
